The blind spot mirros and front end collision are already on most vehicles out there as an option, so don't be suprised if GM follows suit. I guess you can argue the same thing about a Sunroof being an option too right? lol.
The problem is though that options are only partially paid for in the specific option price the rest goes into the base price of all the trim levels where it is available.

Not sure, but the area around the halos seems the "same" as before...the grille looks smaller just because of the "bump-up"???...dunno...Overall I like the front, I think what I heard regarding the Z/28 is that the grille, and "lower-grille" are that way to help the heat extractor do it's job...Thinking V-6 front may not look the same, as it will not have the heat-extractor...

Gotta say I like the old tail-lights better for now...new ones are ok...I'm sure there will be plenty of aftermarket tail-lights that can change those out if desired...

Options? Oh, my God...thought I'd never see the day again...It's a great trend, let's don't throw it away....!

My next car may have to be a mustang if this is the direction gm is headed. I purchaded a camaro because they created a master piece with the 2010-2013. Oh and the 1st gen. Was never a fan of any other camaros. Just never liked the looks. Mostly just disappointed in the 2014. Sorry those are just my feelings towards the car. However I do like the race seats, so I guess its not all bad.

The more I see of the 2014, the more I like it. I prefer the new front end and I even appreciate the hood vent. I don't care one way or the other about the back end.

I like the look of the refresh I just wish there were some actual performance enhancements. I doubt the hood vent changes the way the SS drives to a degree where a 2013 or older owner could tell the difference. I doubt magazines will be lining up for new performance tests for the 2014. A great improvement overall but they shouldn't have advertised the 2014 as anything other than having visual enhancements.

I hear ya...I think though, for a "Re-Fresh", they did good...overall the changes weren't anything "major"...The Performance end was all about the Z/28...The SS got the race seats, front end and vent....Probably performance enough for a "Re-Fresh"....

It's still a 5thGen, so I'd say nothing real significant til the 6th Gen..

Sorry Guys, The new Look Front and Rear still has not Grown on me. I'm Glad GM didn't bring the Camaro Back with this look.

I wouldn't be a Chevy again, if they had.

Boy, those tail lights are awful, they look like something you'd see on a Nissan. They messed up the tail lights on the Stingray too.

Seems they've turned their Detroit designers loose on both cars, I think it's time to bring back the Aussies.

If the Camaro refresh or the 6th gen had gotten the 2014 Vette tail lights I'd be extremely happy. Unfortuently, Vette got the tail end that would have been a natural evolution for the Camaro, and now the designers have nowhere to go with the Camaro that won't infringe on the sacred ground that is the Corvette....so they had to go with something totally different.

....Yeah, perhaps...well, the cream rises to the top...lol....I could see the new tail-lights on the '14 evolving to a 6thGen/"2nd Gen" look with that wrap around business....

As far as the front again...I guess the "Heritage Grille" is done...can't see that working on the '14 grille...
