Their outer ceramic jacket and inner insulation can with stand temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, providing long lasting operation under the most grueling underhood temperatures. The low 500 ohm per foot resistance wire has fiberglass reinforcing braids for added strength and flexibility.
