..in that teaser they said north of 56,5K as I recall. Previously used examples of such code talk would suggest that the price would not be much more beyond that, say...for instance, 59,9K base I'm thinkin'....

I hope it is not a penny above 64999.99, as I am on a list with a deposit for msrp not to exceed 65k

69k, with a 10k add-on sticker next to it for interior Scotchgard and UV Paint protection. Oh and mudflaps, gotta have them fancy mudflaps.

Have to add AC cost in it if you plan actually driving it.

As long as the windows roll down I wouldn't need A/C. I already don't use my A/C in both my daily driver or Camaro unless I go on the highway for an extended period of time. Around town I always have the windows down and sun roof open.

My 2cents, base Z/28 will be mid 70's without dealer markups.

All things considered, I say it will MSRP in the mid $60's. If it is considerably more you won't see one on the street at all. You can dang well bet GM wants some of these cars on the road and not sitting in a garage or trailer somewhere.
My local dealer says IF they get one or more build slots they will be selling them at MSRP to local folks who are car nuts... like me. : ) Thank God for sensible GM dealerships. And No, this dealer doesn't pretend to know anything we don't, as some dealerships do. We will know in the next 2 months I suspect. |

Lots dealers saying will sell C7 at msrp also. But others saying markups could reach 10k. Never know till they get them.

At around 70, I don't think I could bring myself the buy the Z/28 even if I could afford it because, by all accounts so far, the Stingray is so good for around 57 with the Z51 package. As it is, I will be continuing to love the poor man's Z/28 (but if we didn't need the back seats for kids, I think I would be figuring out how to make the new Vette work in the budget.)
