Used 2010's already showing up
Was browsing around on ebay and autotrader and noticed that there are already some used 2010's showing up already. I saw this with the Challenger shortly after it was out too.
Sadly it appears these lots are trying to get just as much on the used ones as they would for a new one.

Well for the gougers it is a win win.
They take delivery on the car, get to take the sales tax off their federal taxes for puchasing a new car this year, and sell it off to Joe "I gotta have it" for a couple of K more than they paid. LabRat |

This Camaro appeared in front of a Saturn dealership in Jackson Ms about a week ago. The sticker on the window is approx $27,900, and the guy told me the car was available for $35,900. He was really cocky, and I left thinking it would be there for a while and then he would come to his senses.
It was gone three days later.....

well there is a lot of idiot 17 year olds and stupid parents who will let them buy it or buy it for them, then figure out two months down the road its not smart. To me to go through the hassle of buying a car and turning around and selling it for a few grand more, doesnt make sense.

this is why dealers are charging the Market Premiums, because people will pay it, but here's the problem with that. and I don not wish this on anyone but it has already happened, let's just say that 20 miles down the road some uninsured, non-licensed driver totals your acr. What do you think the insurance company will do, pay MARKET Premium, or sticker??

Yea that's it lol. It should be under MSRP a couple hundred bucks not over.
Probably someone that got rejected financing or just gave up or could not get insurance. As far as the payments thing. They make the payments but of course they tag that back on to your loan with interest. I.E. you will pay those payments and the interest in addtion to interest for months it takes to pay back. It's not free payments. They can sue you for other assets when you sign that they make the payments you probably sign off all your assets like house etc in the fine print. |
