Not sure anyone has pushed the fuel system that far yet. But the one to ask would be DSX...

Agreed, I was slated to be the first ZL1 with the kit back in March. Then when I was ready to purchase they said we "think" it "should" support your power goals. I really appreciate their honesty in stating that they did not know for sure but decided to sit tight and wait untill others tested the limits. It appears no one has tested to the point I was hoping just yet. I need to do something this month now that I am back in town. Dunno....

My car will be hitting the Dyno tomorrow with this kit installed, current mods are in my signature. Before changing the injectors and adding the flex fuel sensor I was at 723whp on 93 octane. Fingers crossed that this kit and ID1050x's can support another 60-80hp on full E85!

Car put down 772whp comfortably on a 72% ethanol mix. Fuel pressure held solid at 65psi.

Sounds like your tune was very conservative, I would have expect close to a 100 HP gain with your mods...With just a stage 1 kit and adding a 8.66 lower and E85 conversion I was told to expect a 50 HP gain, which is great for me using a BAP...

The change in hp was only due to changing his injectors, adding the DSX kit and I believe running E85 (or in his case, 72% eth). All of the other mods were previously installed.

On another note, I think this is an awesome alternative to ID850s and a BAP if you ever plan to go up in hp. Plus you can run E85 with this kit. Definitely on my list now for mods, glad I didn't go the other route yet.

Hey inferno ss. Did you have any issues when you installed the DSX kit.
My car has similar mods.14 zl1. It's currently at a speed shop and they're having issues with the car. They hit 749rwh, but It wasn't pushing enough feel so they upgraded to the ID 1050x. But now the fuel pumps are not keeping up with the injectors,if that makes any sense. they think it could be a faulty fuel pump. Hopefully there will be some good news next week. So I was just curious if you ran into any similar isuues. Thanks

I am finally installing this kit this weekend . Looks like you drill a hole in the tank at the rear were there is a slight angle ? Any issues getting a drill in there?

No issues, plenty of room.

However, drilling a fuel tank with an electric drill is not exactly safe.

That being said, I did it and survived. Didnt even have to use the fire extingusher.

I am sure I will survive also ... The picture looks to be all the way in the back in the instructions .. or is it on the side a little?
