Amp and front speaker replacement (?)
Looking to get some input from those who know more than me about the proper audio equipment to put in the Camaro. Not looking for a crazy all out audiophile system, just something better than the factory BA system. I already have a powered 10in Rockford Fosgate sub which is plenty loud for me (300watts). Looking to replace the factory amp with the FARK and a Fockford Fosgate Prime R400-4D (2ohm). The front speakers I am looking to replace with Infinity Kappa 60.11CS 6-3/4" component speaker system (2ohm). I plan on leaving the rear 6X9s alone for the moment as I understand they do very little and just provide some "fill". Can anyone tell me if this would be a decent setup or point me in a better direction? I also would love some input on how to replace the tweeters properly. Again, not looking for the loudest, best, or expensive upgrades. Thank you!

I am a huge fan of Infinity speakers. They have a wide frequency range that gives great sound. Beyond that, I am looking for info about getting more volume. Curious myself if I can replace the stock amp with something more powerful....or maybe there is a gain control on the stock amp? Idk. Will be starting a thread soon.

I have no experience with that setup but I think it would sound damn good. I don't think you can get the fark harness anymore though. Let us know what you do

Fark is still listed for sale and in stock on the web sight so I don't know why everyone keeps saying you cant get them anymore. My plan is an Alpine PDR-V75 5 channel AMP running the stock speakers for now and adding a 10" JL audio W0v3 sub. Everyone says the stock speakers are adequate for most applications unless you want to pump way more power into them.

I haven't even bothered dropping in a sub, the BA's produce enough bass for me... I'm even concerned some times that the back window will shatter.

Just checked again and don't see the fark harness listed. He has the add an amp harness which I have to get a RCA output to another amp from your stock Boston amp. |

Upon further research I have discovered that the Rockford amp will not fit well on the amp board from Sub Thump. I am looking at the Precision Power P900.4. It is 2ohm stable, has more power, and will fit the board better. Anyone else running this or a similar amp?
