Clothing question?

I plan on drag racing and autocross. Do I have to wear long pants? Trying to figure out what to pack.

Upper 50s at night, 75-85 during the day.

Someone mentioned pollen in another thread. It is no joke down here this time of year! If you have allergies, pack the Zertec or Claritan or whatever you need.

Sounds like t-shirt and shorts and a light coat at night.

Long pants = more weight = slower times.
Boy shorts it up.

LOL, I thought the shirts had to be long sleeve as well. Am I mistaken or is that something that just isn't enforced???

Not sure about the long sleeves but I do know that you have to also wear shoes, sandles or any open toed shoe is not allowed.

garcmol is NOT kidding about the pollen down here. Yesterday it was so bad that the air in the neighborhood was thick and hazy with it. Everytime the breeze blew, big huge puffy clouds of it filled the air and would travel and mingle with other clouds of pollen. This is serious stuff this time of year!!!

Zyrtec, Claritan, Allegra are the common remedies, but you might want to bring along some benedryl and sudafed as well and Allergy Eye Drops. I recommend Opcon-A and even some saline solution to flush your eyes at the end of the day. If you have Asthma, make sure you bring your medications and inhalers. You may also want to bring some menthol throat lozenges as well as your favorite box of tissue; kleenex or puffs plus with lotion because if you are sensitive you will be sneezing and blowing your nose a lot. At the end of the day, be sure to take a shower to wash all of the pollen out your hair so you don't sleep with it on you all night. This might sound like overkill, but take it from a long time allergy sufferer, you don't want to be miserable at the end of the first day.

Just for piece of mind I think you would want to stay away from anyting high syntetic. Just on the slim chance that ther was a fire.
