Ted, looking ay the SCT 3416, or diablo predator, Taking your advice on which one to purchase. Also is there a discount for military disabled veterans, doesn't hurt to ask. PM me if you need too.

Are you looking at used or new.

I have a deal on some 3416s I could help you out with.

Either way the SCT will have more room to grow as your build progresses.

Ted.

predator's are all dead and gone.. were all discontinued about 3-4 years ago now.. so you definitely don't want to get a predator...

you'd want to get the diablosport inTune or Trinity.. either one would support the vehicle.. and both have tcm/tranny support if you have an auto tranny...

as for the difference between the two... tune-wise, the tunes are the same. adjustable parameters are the same, and custom tuning can be done for both of them as well...

The Trinity has a few more features, including a performance monitor for 0-60, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile times, etc... bigger color touch screen... graphic virtual gauges for monitoring data... it has a windshield mount (like a gps)... you can watch/view the data without having to hold it, since it's mounted to the windshield...

The inTune is smaller (it's the size of a credit card), it does not have the performance monitor, and does not have the graphic virtual gauges, etc, but it's less expensive...and it's a little easier to use than the Trinity when it comes to data logging and importing/export tune files for custom tuning, since you don't have to use any extra software - everything is just copy/paste with the inTune.

here are links to their user manuals so you can check them both out:

inTune user manual: http://diablosport.com/manualFiles/i...ser_Manual.pdf

The ITSX is controlled via blue tooth by a smart phone like Android or Apple.

It fits in your shirt pocket about the size of 1/2 cigarette pack.

The X4 is larger and is stand alone with a cord you plug in only for flashing, reading codes or logging.

Give me a call if you have any questions.

Ted.

Does the diablosport i1000 allow you to disable the rear O2 sensors? Also would the 93 octane tune suffice if the only mods I have are the k&n intake and muffler delete?

I could be wrong but don't believe it does.

The tunes that come in the tuner are for all stock vehicles any modifications benefit from custom tuning.

The K&N systems, there are 2, both have different calibrations and are far off from stock air box calibration.
