Went to the Car wash - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Feeling lazy on a sunday and decided to take the Camaro to full service car wash instead of washing it at home. I got there just after they opened and there was only two cars in front of me. Once the Camaro came off the conveyer belt wash. A 2010 vette pulled through. ( Now I love Vettes too, so I'm not knocking them at all), So My Camaro was sitting getting polished, and the Vette was next in line for the same service. Well, I was figuring that since It was so early that I could get the car wash done fast. Wrong! After everyone that worked there had to check out the Camaro, take pictures standing by it, and ask me all types of questions, it took an extra 30 minutes. But the weird thing was, no one seemed that interested in the Vette. It just shows, how Eye catching these 5 gen camaros truly are.

We're new, that's why.
Once there's 5 bazillion of us in the road we'll be just like the Vette.
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Coming from a multiple Corvette owner... whats so special about a Corvette? They have looked basically the same since what... 1984. Sure there has been styling changes but nothing major... oh wait, they did away with pop-up lights. Does a 1984 Camaro look anything like a 2010? I think not. Check my profile pic... sure its an 89 but close enough. Also, Scot is right... the hoopla will die off eventually. I had a 2007 Corvette I sold for the Camaro... best decision I ever made.
