Anyone here recommend Meguiar's Gold Class or Zymol Leather Cleaner/Conditioners?
I have black leather in my 2LT.

Don't use Meguiar's as it looks kinda greasy. Zymol has very good waxes. If their leather treatment is anything like their waxes, it is definitely top notch.

Still happy with Zaino "leather in a bottle" which truly smells just like the product name.

Lexol is for leather, which our seats are not.

The hold up right now is the supply of leather conditioner... we're really light on both the product and the labels at the moment. I'm waiting to hear when we'll have restock on both labels and chemical so we can run this.

I leave in the morning for Philadelphia for our last big clinic of the season in PA, if I haven't heard anything before I leave I'll work on setting it up for next week after i get back.

Not true, well, unless you have the cloth interior.

The seating surfaces are leather. The rest of the seat is vinyl.

Post #23 in this thread explains it.

What he meant is that its actually coated leather... even the portions that are actual 'leather' sit under a coating of urethane protection.

With the exception of very very very high end vehicles (rolls royce for example) the hides used in the construction of car seats are fairly low grade. The skins are blotchy, uneven, scared, and marked... to hide these imperfections they're coated with a textured and colored urethane to give them a uniform look.

Partially this is also b/c most consumers wouldn't care for raw leather appropriately and it would look terrible after a short period of time. If you've ever seen the interior of a Ford King Ranch Edition truck you know what I mean. Raw leather discolors unevenly, wears unevenly, and begins to look rather shabby. Its terrible in vehicle applications b/c obviously the driver seat would begin to show wear before anything else and most people wouldn't be OK with the uneven wear/look.

That being the case for about 99% of the vehicles on the road the use of a product that contains oils and animal fats (lanolin) like lexol does is unnecessary. If you were dealing with raw leather sure... lanolin and moisturizers make a ton of sense, but in the Camaro using products that contain animal fats is about the same as smearing bacon grease on them... it just sits on top, not being absorbed.

Armor all made my leather super slick. My ass slid in and out of the seat easily.
