I agree, the SS 1LE should've come with the 6 pistons from the ZL1. I've been running the ZO6 calipers with the vented pistons since 2016. I run Raybestos ST43 pads and have the Quantum ducts. I've used both the OE ZL1 rotor and the DBA ZO6 ring. Both are great and I think the DBA ring may last a touch longer.

I initially sprayed my ZO6 calipers with VHT caliper paint, but the paint blistered. So in 2018 I sandblasted the calipers and used the G2 caliper epoxy system. The G2 is way better and they still have the bright red color with no degradation of the coating. When I did this rebuild in 2018 the OE seals were toast, but as we near 2020, they currently still look brand new. My braking technique is way better than in 2016 and while I use them harder, I am using them in a shorter time period.

Once again thread is being revived.

I have priced most of this stuff out but cant find a clear answer. I love slotted rotors but they only come in one piece from R1 ( what i currently have and love them ) Will theCTS-V 1 piece fit or do i have to go with 2 piece rotors and go blank (no slot)?

If you can get a hold of a set of ZL1 hats you can use DBA rotors for a C7 GS/Z06.

The OE ZL1 hats are not available for sale. Sometimes someone here on the forums will sell them used off of an old set of OE ZL1 rotors. I've seen them on ebay also.

If you have a 1LE no if you have an SS yes. The 1LE already has the same heat shields as the ZL1.

for caliper bolt torque specs (per my Haynes manual) it lists 30ft-lbs and then rotate another 90 degrees. unless Goodridge has different torque specs, it shows the OEM torque specs on the banjo bolt is also 30ft-lbs

I did some digging on my computer and found this old stuff from JPSS. I need to find what I had that showed if you used non TTY bolts.

This is an old post it should straighten you out. I personally got rid of the TTY bolts. Zero problems.
