I had exactly the same thing just few hours ago , the shaking felt like yhe car has a massive cam , this was just after i installed my ported throttle body . I disconnected the battery for 2 hours , put it back on , everything got fine & idles great with no issues at all ...

For me, the dealer ordered the ecm, when it came in I dropped off my car that morning and it was done by the afternoon.

Yes. I even went in the showroom and checked the convertible ZL1. The nut holding the power wire to the fuse box was tight. I thought it was a new guy on the manufacturing line missing one of his tasks.
I have had no other issues since then.

My car just did the same thing -stabilitrak,reduced power - let car sit 30 secs and did same thing. Pushed on the plug wires then fired up no prob except engine light is on need to pull codes tomorrow. It's a 2012 with 17000 miles I've had the car 1 year never done this before. It was raining but I didn't hit any
puddles. It's under warranty but really hate taking it to dealer anything I can check or look for to see what's up? Thanks

I had the same issue not too long ago. Had a similar issue on a 2006 Colorado while it was under warranty. Dealer had it for a week and discovered loose pins on the PCM harness. For grins I undid and re-seated each of the 3 harnesses going in the ZL1's PCM. Fired it up, let it idle for a while, test drove it around the area under various throttle, problem gone. Hopefully doesn't resurface again. Limp mode + heavy mods was not fun. Scared the s*** out of some lady walking her kid when it nearly stalled and started backfiring like crazy trying to make it home.

Wow! I ran across this thread searching for P0606. My 2012 ZL1 has 6500 miles, is all stock, and went into limp mode throwing P0606, P0354, and P0300. Initially I disconnected the battery and reconnected, along with swapping coils from cylinder 4 to 1 and swapping plug wires from cylinders 4 to 1. Car fired up with no codes ran for 2 minutes and P0354 and P2610 popped up.
From the above responses I'm going to check my grounds and ECM connections. Hopefully that helps, but it is sounding like the ECM could be the culprit.
