Traction problem when I floor it?

Sometimes when I floor my 2014 L99 SS, it will jolt me forward as if I’m stopping and the traction light will come on. After a second it will continue if I’m still flooding it, (if this makes any sense) it only happens sometimes. I’m not sure if it’s the transmission or?

Any Mods? Try turning traction control off and see what happens

Do you have traction control on? If you have wheel spin this can happen

This from a roll or stop?
Back when stock I had what I think you're trying to describe which I considered throttle lag. Gave me reason to modify and tune both my camaro and g8.

On highway and need to switch lanes quickly and punch it. Car falls on its face and then seems to jump to life in a more jerky experience than if it had just worked right. This what you're describing?

That's exactly what I thought too. If TC is on when you mash it enough to break the tires loose, the car will fall on its face. The computer cuts power to the engine in order to regain traction.

That sounds exactly like what’s happening, but it’s weird because it happens when I’m in 2nd or 3rd gear in the middle of the run?

Just hold the tc button until two lights stay on in the cluster area. Apply full force to the pedal on the right and have fun. Never have fun with the nannies on. If you crash you held the pedal on the right too long.

Small, but effective mod list:

Roto-Fab Intake, TSP 2" Long tubes, TSP catless mids, MSD spark plug wires, stock catback, Elite Catch Can, APEX washer relocation and scoop, VMAX throttle body, Diablo InTune-Tuned by Matt@FSP, and a JacFab license plate bracket.

The only time my Camaro has 'fallen on it's face' is when I hit the rev limiter. With TC on sometimes I see the TC light flicker on the dash, but it is far from closing the throttle. It just skips along about as fast as it can.
I did feel it hit hard once. When I had my winters on and did a wide open throttle, popped the clutch in 2nd at ~40MPH downshift. Never had that happen with the summers though. Just a nice chirp and go.
The OP should see the TC light on the dash if it is TC.

I've gone around more than one corner with enough throttle to kick the ass out a bit with no interference at all.
I wonder if all the drivers who tell you to turn it all off have ever found the limits when the nannies kick in. The ST takes quite a bit of countersteer before it kicks in.
I could guess the ST light comes on when that kicks in, but I've never had to opportunity to look down at the dash when that has occurred.

This sounds more like a fuel issue than TC to me.
