My tire brand was pretty cheap too. Ebay bought LEXANI. Reviews were good and I've had em now for a few k miles. I don't think i'll buy another brand. That's how much a difference it made for me. I don't track my car though as there are better tires for the track I'm sure.
TY for the info

put some coopers on my 2015 RS,it improved the ride quite a bit.my 2006 pontiac solstice rode much harsher than the camaro, but it was like a go cart.at any speed the camaro is like a big comfy couch, but it doesnt like rough pavement.

If you want a softer ride in the rear see this post https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=401006

QA1 shocks FTW

Who here has driven a 70’s Cadillac, Buick Electra 225 (‘Deuce and a quarter’), Pontiac Bonneville, Chrysler New Yorker, or any of the other boats of the era? BIG, mushy, comfortable rides but a handling nightmare. There is not a Camaro - then or now, that will produce an un-stiff ride like you may be dreaming of. Buy one of those or time travel is my only suggestion.

My first car was a 72 Pontiac Catalina “The Chief”. Purchased for $700, sold 3 years later for $400.

400 cubic inches of low compression, de-tuned couch riding comfort...

Wait, you've owned 30-40 F-bodies!? Are you including the matchbox cars you had as a kid? Sorry if I'm having trouble believing any of your claims, but as we all know car guys are like fisherman... about half of them are full of sh*t and those are usually the one's who "boast" the loudest. If you really have purchased a new Camaro every 6 months since you were old enough to drive including the fastest and best handling V6 to ever come off the assembly line then I certainly apologize. I still like my odds though.

You realize I'm 65 years old.............1st car was a 68 Camaro. Must I count up every fbody I owned over the years for you? Let me see if I can remember them all because WE yes my wife and I have ALWAYS had 1 or 2 at a time. Never owned anything else except Jeeps for winter driving. OK let me count up 68c,70c,74c,76c,77c,77TA,78TA,2-84TAs,85TA,87GTA,88GTA,89c,92c,94c,98c,99TA,01WS6, 01c,02Formula,02WS6, and last but not least 2015c. Sorry I was wrong its only 22, I may have forgotten a few. Hard to remember back so far.

I also ran a GM service dept for many years. The last WS6 we owned handled decent and rode beautiful, it was a luxury ride for sure for a performance car. Very well balanced. Still didn't handle never as well as this 15 Camaro. You gotta give up something to get handling this good. I do notice it has ALOT to do with temperature. The warmer it gets the softer this Camaro rides, I have to think its stock because of this fade with temp thing. On a cold day it barely moves, on a warm day its bottoms on some of the roads here is PA.

Although I still don't own a 5th gen yet, I have driven quite a few. The last camaro I owned was a '95 z28. One thought on stiffness might be the larger diameter wheels and lower profile tires (shorter sidewall) that would contribute to the stiffness you feel. But like others have said it's possible your's was lowered and those springs are too stiff for your preference. Just food for thought.

Well now I get it. You've been out of the game for way too long, 90% of those cars are absolute dogs compared to what's out there today. I can definitely see why you feel like your car is a rocketship now. Just do yourself a favor, don't ever get behind the wheel of a V8 powered 5th/6th gen. At least not unless you're ready to trade up.

152LTRockin - curious if you've had a chance to measure the ride height yet? I'm still wondering if it has been lowered. As far as the ride quality changing due to temperature, it could be possible for the shocks to feel different if cold vs hot. The springs should not be affected by the temperature though. But I would think the tires would definitely be impacted by the temperature as they warm up... the rubber and steel belts can be hard as a rock while they are cold for sure.

Also, I am not quite your age yet but I have noticed as I've gotten older and a little heavier (I'll be 40 this month), I tend to notice the bumps in the road more than I did when I was 20. In fact I used to drive a 1965 C-10 with an LS swap that was lowered 5 inches in the rear by means of cut rear coil springs. The thing was so stiff in the rear that you could feel a pebble under the tire and there was no way you could take it over railroad tracks over 10mph without getting a little airborn followed by the axle hitting the bumpstops. As I got older, I couldn't take it anymore and replaced the springs with some good progressive lowering springs that felt like I was riding on clouds. That made this old man happy!
