Three very important items on the "to do list": Drive. Enjoy. Make friends jealous. Not necessarily in that order.

Remove center section of hood to firewall seal with exacto knife to vent heat, get a torquey powermaster starter like I use and make sure you have a good battery. You want some gears, a MGW short throw, a speed hut obd 2 shiftlight, separate clutch reservoir from diygen5.com and have fun with some needle nose pliers. If your really into it talk to Tommy Wong at wongs performance engineering with a bunch of cash and save up on parts Wash charges sales tax also....they suck but he is the best and turning 65 so get on a list and stock up spendy parts like the GPI max kit...LOL just some thoughts..... Trailing arms and toes would be nice too and Les Schwab can do them if they like you and you buy them they could also do the starter.... Then somewhere down the road a nice lt1s monster clutch when the stock gets trashed..etc etc etc Good Luck.

put mufflers back on the car.long tubes and mufflers actually sound good.i just don't like super loud cars.
back in the day when a muffler fell off we should have just called a muffler delete instead of fixing it.LOL
MODS are like tattoos they seem to spread. a cam swap and long tubes typically get ya in the 450+ whp range at that point i would stop on engine mods.throw a set of 3.91's at it and call it a day.

This right there ^^ cam and gears

Other than that upgrade the suspension and some body mods like DRL harness, led bulbs everywhere and cosmetic things.

Ok thanks fellas. The car came with the factory Hurst short throw. As you can see ive added the GM rear spoiler, painted the bulge on the hood. Added a red pinstripe, and have staggered Z-28 style wheels with 305’s and 275’s. What is a “DRL” harness, speedhut odb2?

Day time running light harness - it allows the headlights and “fog lights” to be on at the same time. It’s a under $20 harness and takes 5 mins to install. Plus add in some LED bulbs on the fog lights while you are there.

Don't follow the rabbit. You have a nice set up, enjoy it. If you start on internals mods, it will never stop. I've spent more on mods than the car originally cost.

I agree with Cheap Guy, do the suspension next. That's what my project for the spring is and it doesn't have to be a budget breaker. After you've built the foundation, decide how much power you want and go get it!
