If you can splurge for the G27, I say go for it. I'm not aware of what other changes besides the number of buttons on the wheel were made, but the G25 is a marvel. It's super accurate and customizable. I purchased mine brand new, and spent $300 on it. If money is an issue, try and find a G25 online or something. Either way, neither wheel will let you down and you'll be glad you invested.

I actually taught my brother to drive a manual using this wheel just so he wouldn't be out tearing up the clutch on Black Betty 3. Hopefully that helps you in your decision.

I'm just shy of level 8 so I hope to hit level 9 and get my Camaro today. Graphics are great and this is better than Prologue was.
wait so there are still those tests that give you a VW van and if you don't complete the test you fail?

crraap i always sucked at those

Been playing gran turismo for about 8hrs now and hve gotten my camaro in the 600 hp range. The car will keep up with some of the super cars. Beat the Bugatti on intermediate level with 600 ho in the super car festival. Feels Good!

I don't know why...but for racing fun...I'm addicted to Split Second. There aren't any "real" cars in it (although, the first car you have is eerily familiar to a car we all know and love ).

Check it out...it's not realistic...it's just a blast to play.

Hopefully getting GT5 in my stocking this year (aka, if I wasn't 100% sure it was coming...I'd already have it).

You can see the Camaro-esque car in this trailer.

Thats awesome. I might go for it.

I haven't driven a manual in a while "my parents sold the only manual car" so it would help refresh on how to drive it again.

Up to level 15.. my piece of advice: DO THE SPECIAL EVENTS!! They are awesome cash, and awesome experience points. The NASCAR ones are pretty easy too.. especially the beginner ones.

Have the whole weekend to GT5 it up.. already got myself 2 Ferraris (Cali '08, 458), a gallardo, '69 Vette Stingray that I souped up to about 520 HP, and some other random cars.. oh and that one made by Bugatti.. the Veyron, maybe you've heard of it? ;-)

Loving it to death, so realistic.. and damage is pretty lame, but tbh I don't like hitting the wall so I could care less.

IGN.com gave it an 8.5 too, basically the same you said. It's awe-inspiring at times, and there was one night race I did where I would drive uphill and my lights would disappear into the hill?? Lol.. I don't really care about the detail of the shadows, I care about how it drives and how much fun that driving experience is, and IMO thats a perfect 10/10.

Ditto, although I have not played NR2003 in a few years... after the COT patches/mods.

It is EPIC! Love it! I picked up the limited edition version. The die-cast and book are totally worth the extra $40!
