Nice run. I hope to be ordering a 2300 from you guys soon. How do you feel about the tvs vs a vortech?

thanks
I personally feel the TVS with its instant low end is best for these big heavy cars. We have yet to do a Procharger or Vortech to give a true comparison. |

Drag Radials
I tried a set of stock 18" Z06 wheels would not fit around Brembo's without 3/8 wheel spacer. Did you have to use a spacer to make wheels fit. The only 20" drag radials I can find are Nitto's.

Think once we start seeing some gear selections avail for the rear of these cars we will start seeing much more 11's and 10's with those running a SC or Nitrous. Of course, thats if they get it to hook!

Nice Job! I live vicariously through all the racing guys with Camaro's on this forum since I know my wife would freak out if I took this car to the track...

What is the aspect ratio on those tires? They look decent on there. Do you have any pictures of the car with those tires?

These are a replica C6/Z wheel and believe the are 18x10, but unsure of the backspace.
no spacers needed I can get a pic of the wheels on the car tomorrow. This is a 6 speed / LS3 car. We could for sure use a gear with this tire combo since we do not use much of 4th as it is. tire info : DOT Certified TUBELESS Comparable Race Size 12.5/28.0R18 # Tread Width: 12.3" # Section Width: 13.8" # Diameter: 28.0" # Circumference: 88.0" # Rim Size: 13.0" # Code: ROD-23 We hope to be back at the track within the next week for our 10 sec pass...we have a little back up now as well : http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45318 |
