I got to ride in a 1LE this weekend and it's so much better to me than the SS MRC. Much flatter and smoother without the bouncing around. It is stiffer but not harsh st all. It's how the car should have come from the factory.

Yup, that guess would be for all H50s. Again we won't know until mid to late summer I'm guessing. Very curious myself on the breakdown of body style, transmission, trim level, etc.

While wiping my car off for a car show tonight my "Y" in FIFTY came off. I used painters tape to mark where it goes and to hold the "Y" while I applied JB Weld to the back of the "Y" then I applied the tape with the "Y" on it. Worked really well so I did the other side as well which was very loose. A little scary messing with the JB on the body buy the method I used is almost foolproof. I also wiped the old glue off with goof off so the "Y" would sit flush and not get caught on anything while wiping the car off.

It's happened to a few folks here. It's not a wear item, and should be covered under warranty. I'd take it to the dealer and make them put an entirely new badge on. Putting JB Weld on the paint would make me nervous.

I know but several members have had the replaced one come off as well. I don't want to have a recurring issue. The space at the end of the "Y" gets caught on microfiber towels very easily. I eliminated that space.

Not sure where to put this so I figured I'd drop it in the 50th thread. I've had my 50th for 2 weeks now and I love the car. Only thing that bugs me is the wheels. I like them but I want to go wider and I'd like to keep the 50th wheels nice and shiny just in case i ever decide to sell it. Lets face it. They are also a huge PITA to clean.

So now my question. Has anyone put a set of MRR M017's on a 50th Anniversary? I've looked through the thread an haven't seen anything but I can miss a lot in 250 pages.

I'm thinking of taking of doing 275/35/20 in the front and moving up to 305/30/20 in the rear. Was looking to use the stock rear tires on the front and only have to buy a ner set of rears. Anyone done this?

Can't think of anyone here done that. Have you looked in the official nightfall grey Metallic thread? Seen lots of wheel mods there.

So - as I was filling up the thirsty girl, I heard a rumble in the parking lot. Looking up I see that "other 50" in town. He parks.. and we chat a few minutes while I finish up. I was pressed for time - but we had a very quick, multi-topic conversation. Mentioned this forum... not sure he is coming. This is a young guy ( by my standards) and very, very excited to have such a special car.

He has the A8, 2SS version - added dealer options like rust module, paint coating etc. Black bows - so we look the same.

I pointed him to one of the Face pages 50th clubs.. sadly I later realized its the smaller one.. but time will get him to the other and maybe here.

We parted ways -as I had to go.. and he follows me out of the parking lot and down the road a mile.. perhaps the ONLY ever Canadian 50th convoy ? LMAO

A few minutes later, Im parked in the front row ( away from people) of the parking lot as I wait for my friend -and he pulled up beside me. Windows down and he sees im still in the car. he just really wants to get pictures of the two cars.. front led lights on.. as its just early dusk......he runs out in front of us to snap away.

I am now hoping to find him again - because I want that damned picture !
