Temporary OBD Failure?
2011 LT with48k - runs like a top. Friday after 30 min on the highway engine light came on and car lost most power. Exited, turned off for 20 min - it didn't reappear. Drove straight to dealer who didn't have time to check it - suggested it was likely a sensor failure that had reset on off/on and that I shouldn't worry about my 200 mile drive that evening which went fine - no recurrence since.
Any suggestions on what this was or how to find out? |

Codes were misfiring on all odd cylinders. Theory is that this was low gas level on a cold day.

no mods - and no recurrence for 3+ months now. I'll get the f/w update when there's time.

CEL came back on - same error codes - odd cylinders
- I see many misfiring issues from other folks in cold weather - Asked earlier about SB PI 0284 - said there is no such thing & no f/w update for 20122 V6 - Dealer has no idea and asked me to return when it happends again I see a thread on carbon deposits advising fuel additive and catch can |
