This is cool, but did this actually change the tone of your Borla exhaust, or is the deeper engine note coming from the new open vacuum sound of the intake? Just curious.....

Meaner

I have just the Borla S-Type mufflers on the car now (Axel Back). No Doubt the tone of the exhaust changed more deeper and more of a head turner when you get on the car with the CAI. I tried to resist ordering the whole Borla kit X- Pipe (another 600 bucks thru Summit) but that lasted two weeks. Just got it yesterday probably will install this weekend. Interested to see how that will change the tone and level

Installed the Borla X- Pipe today. You can hear the difference at idle. Little more raspier on acceleration. Pretty sweet set up. Now for the solo cats...

Ive actually thought about swapping my K&N out for one of these. I just know all these intakes are similar in performance, but I already have the adm scoop and WW bottle relocator. Thought the enclosed box and heat shield would be the only advantages over the K&N?

Congrats! The CAI intake was the first mod I did to my car. And man, my car woke up, I just love it. But one thing, I was expecting better gas mileage, but I was told, that my foot was to heavy. Lol. This intake draws a lot of attention, people ask me questions about it all the time. The only thing now, I wish I had brought it in Black. But I still love it.

What's up Rick! How did she do on the new dyno? I think the CAI, Inc unit is the BEST air box out there for our set ups, it really opens up the power of the Maggie. Hope you guys are doing well!

We love hearing stuff like that, and are very glad to hear how much you love the product!! Many people sell their silver units and buy the black ones, especially if you plan on keeping the car for awhile, you shouldn't take to much of a $$ hit as the used CAI's still have a pretty high value when used. Thank you so much for your business and support, we appreciate it very much!
