ZL1 rear splash guards on SS? How they install?

I have seen plenty of pics of ZL1 splash guards, front and rear, on SS cars. Aside from the diffuser mounting point that's 'in the wind' so to speak, which I would trim off, I can't see just where and how the rear ZL1 guards mount. I really like how they look

Need guards badly. 7500 miles and the car looks like I've been off-roading. F'n Massachusetts roads, 20 year construction projects

Anyway, how do they go on?

They use some of the same holes for the plastic wheel wells. For the fronts search for a post by 2ssrs (Ofer) who made a video. Most of it is pretty easy to figure out.

That's not what I'm asking for

I am asking about the rear splash guards: how do they install? The rear quarter overhangs the wheel well by a good amount. I don't have the opportunity to jack the car remove a rear wheel and stick my head inside the well to see.

Telling me "it's pretty easy to figure out" isn't an answer to my question. I don't want to know how hard it is, I want to know where they mount and how they mount. I've installed engines, transmissions, rear ends, convertible roofs, doors, fenders, hoods, entire electrical systems, built engines, blah blah blah

An answer might be: "on the driver's side they use the three inner well bolts at 2, 4 and 5 o'clock, 7, 8 and 10 o'clock on the passenger side. There's a shaped bracket that fits inside the rear quarter, when you have the parts it will make sense" or something like that

Not worried that I don't have the skills to install splash guards. I just want to know where they mount and how, bro.

Look in the back rite where the bumper meets the inner fender your see 3 t20 torx screws pull all 3 out and the zl1 guard slips in between the bumper and the inner fender and reinstall the screws I just installed ours a few weeks ago and made matching zl1 style from guards. Im a anti mud flap/ splash guard guy to the heart but I love the very slim look and function of the zl1 guards and it should help keep some of the autocross sand blasting off the paint also

I installed ours with the wheels still on and the car on the ground just used a (I think t20) torx on a 1/4 " ratchet

Thanks. One of the things I was worried about is- what happens if I remove all the bolts and something can mis-align

So the rear guards must have a weird shape then? You wouldn't recall the p/ns would you?

can you take a quick photo, ICT?

thanks for the help

A few of the rear showing the screws and the guard between the inner fender and the bumper and one of the homemade front for fun, but yeah once you get them and take a look it will all come together and you'll see the locations better than in a pic
