Question Side Vent Chrome

Those fake side vents just pass the door, are they the same width, length, etc as on the 2011? I have a 45th 2012 Convertible Camaro. I see that Defenderworx-side vents chrome GM for 189.99 has them. That's got to be top dollar for a pair, where you you get them from and are the 2011, 2010 & 2012 all the SAME. Thanks, Michael

Do you mean the side gills? No they are not the same size. They get bigger as you move back towards the trunk. The angle of the curve on each of them is also different.

Thanks for your answer, did you buy any for your Camaro and if so do you remember where you got them, etc. Michael

I think there may be some misinterpretation on your post (or maybe just me...)

2010-2012 (so far) are the same design. Each INDIVIDUAL stripe/slit/gill may differ, but the sets are the same. I.E.- if you buy a kit labeled "2010" and install as directed, it will fit a 2012 properly... prices vary depending on what you want- vinyls can be as cheap (and good quality) as $20, up to $200 for chrome- depends on your taste....

Go on e-bay you can find them cheaper. The 2010-12 are all the same.

Thanks very much for your site. My car is that new Carbon Flash Metallic Black so think I will go with those from carID by Defenderworx, a little expensive but what the heck. I appreciate any help on here since the last Camaro I bought was in 1967, sure wish I had that car still but I bought many back in those days. Michael
