Different Filter For ECS Supercharger

I have an Ecs supercharger and I noticed that the filter is crushed. So I was just wondering if anyone has ran a different filter or what they have done to prevent the filter from crushing under boost.

You should probably post a picture. All the ECS installs I have seen, including mine, the filter gets a little wanky looking. The pleats get a bit zig zaggy but you still have the same filtering area. It's not a big deal and will work just fine. If your filter is actually *collapsing* then that is another problem altogether.

I have not seen that before but if it maintains it's integrity it's not a problem. Of course if it collapses completely your car will run badly or not at all. I would contact ECS and show them the picture

Yeah, that's messed up. Shouldn't be like that.
