I am on a quick weekend trip to Cleveland to see an Indians game left this morning and going home tomorrow morning. Took the truck and camping trailer so the dogs could come along they love to go camping. They are having a fireworks show tonight that they do each year called rock n blast. Its a nice display that lasts 45 min to an hour. This year they are doing it to Beatles music we enjoy watching and listening to the music.

Jan thanks for sharing the pictures Glad you had a good time and met up with Linda.
Happy Sat flightwolf.
Good morning Jeanette. Will fill you in this week on the Resort after we get back.
02SS#214 like the Sig do you fly/support the F16?
Skip Thank you. While there heard "Black Tears,Tears of the AZ,Sailors Tears. What is you favorite island to visit?
Jay look forward to it.
Sorry if missed anyone out there.Good morning/afternoon.

Had something happen that really just makes you wonder sometimes. Took a drive to the Northshore yesterday. On the way, stopped at the Dole Plantation. While the family was getting lost in the Pineapple Maze went looking through the huge gift shop and was right behind an elderly man with a cane and woman walking next to him. Some people bumped into them and then myself not having no sense of personal space, in a hurry, no respect, sorry etc. Immovable fireplug here I hear the woman say "lets move out of the way." As they turn " No it can't be?" I asked are you OK?
" No it can't be" Said "Excuse me. Were you at Pearl Harbor yesterday?" "Yes we were." WOW what a coincidence.
He was sharp as a needle. Remembered talking to me yesterday had another great conversation. He had served in 3 wars. His brother was paralyzed during the first wave at PH. They were just coming back from the Northshore and gave me the name of a Restaurant to try. We exchanged information and will stay in touch. They now live in GA. What an honor and pleasure. will always remeber this. Goosebumps typing this.
Wait Family still not out of the maze yet??? Oh well No Dole Whip and fresh pineapple left to share.
Time to go fall off a Paddle board. Enjoy the weekend wherever you may be.

Skyman, can't wait to hear the resort review! Sounds like you had a good time! Let me know if car rental is a must, or if we can just let Disney handle the driving.

Jan, that's so cool that you finally got to meet Linda, too! Hope you two had a good time!

And my great news for the day.... I found the wheels I want!! WOOHOO!!!! Hopefully, can go pick them up next Saturday

I normally don't like to ask for opinions on what to do to my car, but this decision is REALLY hard!! Had some pics photoshopped with my new wheels painted/powdercoated - which do you like better?? Or should I keep them plain?

LBM don't like giving opinions on other peoples Mods lol however of the two choices, I like the first one Powdercoated Black with Red. Blends in and compliments your stripes/body color.

Imho if you plan on visiting Waikiki,Northshore,Pearl Harbor etc Car rental is a must Still cheaper than cab, bus, tour fares when you add it up with going back and forth to Airport.

Jeanette, stationary, I prefer the black and red, but I'll bet, that when moving, the silver and red will look killer. Good luck. Whatever you chose, it'll be .

When I was there about 30 years ago the Polynesian Cultural Center had an evening show where dancers from all the different Pacific Islands did their traditional dances. The fire dancers were really really good. Try to get to the show after roaming the grounds and seeing all the stuff there.

Geez, Linda! Ya had to throw the "while moving" thing into the mix and make it even harder for me, didn't ya???
They are going to be left plain for a while, not going to do anything to them until I am 100% sure of it...

Good morning!!!

I too think they both look good but I think the black goes better with your theme. Good luck deciding. I had a hard time deciding about mine too.

Jeanette glad you were all there to cheer him up.

Found it a very moving and humbling experience.

Thoughts and prayers go out to all the families affected by the senseless brutality of the events in CO:(
Hey, we might have crossed paths over there in HI!! I just got back Saturday morning from 9 days over there. Went to the PH Memorial on the 13th. Stayed at the Hale Koa Hotel. We love Hawaii (First went there in 1970 on R&R from Vietnam and stationed at Hickam 1988-1993) and would love to retire there (after I win the Powerball, that is). Notice all the Camaro convertibles overthere?? I think they finally outnumber the Mustangs now.

Anyway, back home and to work only 4 days this week and leave Friday for Chicago to pick up my daughter who has been interning at Loyola University as an archivist for a couple of months and then head to Bloomington, IN to visit other daughter that works for IU. Just so happens I have a free day on August 3rd and, you guessed it, will hit Camaro Fest!! Unfortunately, it will be without the Camaro and will have the Tahoe. More room to place stuff I might buy!! Anyway, I hope to run across a few of you fellow "old farts" while there. So beware of some "old fart" from Oklahoma introducing himself.....

Sorry . Some LV local has wheels and tires for sale and it looks like a great deal, but I wasn't planning on something like this in my budget right about now :(.
