I assume it's from this:

GM 6.6 Liter V-8 L8T Engine

The L8T V8 is a gasoline engine produced by General Motors for use in Heavy Duty pickup trucks. The engine displaces 6.6 liters in a V8 configuration and an OverHead Valve (OHV) layout otherwise referred to as push-rod.
It is part of GM’s fifth-generation Small Block engine family and made its debut in the all-new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD and 2020 GMC Sierra HD.

So it’s a LT base engine like in the 6th Gens an C7/8 Corvettes?
I didn’t think LT based cranks would work in Gen4 engine platform.
Need to check this out on the LS Forums.

Evidently there are some parts you need to swap around but it looks like it would work.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...er-option.html

This is the crankshaft and one of the recommended parts is the crank timing gear to allow the LT crank to be used in an LS engine. It has the center counter weights also.

Not going to lie, this has my head spinning with ideas. I still have my L99 sitting in the living room on the stand, waiting for something to do.

OP, I know this is a sales thread, but thanks for the info. This is some real good stuff that I had no idea about. GLWS btw.
