I actually dropped about 4lbs each when I got rid of my "stock" 16inch wheels on my 2002 Z/28 and went with 18x8 Falken Koblenz wheels , mostly because the tires on the New Koblenz wheels are alot less rubber, 235/40/18......

Rim protectors aren't anything new.... I had them 5 years ago with my GTO
Exactly on Rim protectors. The tires on my 2000 Firehawk have them. Those are stock. They have saved me once or twice.

I was a little pissed over the fact the SS did not have them. Good to see them back on these.

Your right I believe about the CCM. It has multiple driver modes, normal, sport or whatever they are calling the different modes so lets assume that the exhaust valves open based off what driver mode you are in. What I mean is will switching it to the sport mode open the valves thus giving the driver control over the valves from the factory without having to mod? I'm basically asking if this car allows for exhaust control from the factory.

The question is WHO will be the first to take delivery on a ZL1 with the spacers left in the springs? :(

When will we see Z-28? Will it be something between SS and ZL1? Heck, I think my SS is serious muscle car. I had an 06 GTO before that and ditto (thought it was serious muscle). ZL1 is crazy muscle.

I've always been saying I think GM will make the Z28 like the Boss 302. Light weight track/street performance car! Kind of like the SSX but a little more driver & street friendly. Lol

I don't see the option for the black rims on GM's site when you build/price. Am i missing something?

I thought it was the Aluminum 5 spoke that was standard and the black ones were an option.

69 Rebel... the 5 spoke polished Aluminum wheels are optional while the black 10 spokes come standard. I'm positive... type "O" positive!
