M6 squel in nutral
I officially hate this m6! Today after a full throttle pull in 2nd gear I came to a stop. My car was making a high pitch squel that is coming from the trans! When I push the clutch pedal in it stops, release the pedal and it starts agian.
I continued to drive home and the sound stoped, I checked my seperat reso and my fluid is black! It was changed last week and I noticed my clutch pedal has been sticking. Going the change and bleed fluid, but what was that noise!!!!

No what? Can the bearing make noise because of the fluid being dirty or air in the system? What will happen if I keep driving it?
We're can I get te bearing and what kind of job is this.

You have to pull the transmission to change the throw-out bearing.

You really don't want the bearing to chunk itself inside your trans by continuing to drive it or risk needing a whole new clutch. Although if you're going in anyways might as well upgrade. Fluid wouldn't be the cause. A bad bearing is a bad bearing.

Yeah, I'd just get a clutch assembly and replace the pressure plate and t.o. bearing because it's all right there together. The stock t.o. bearings are not very heavy duty. Might want to consider installing a speed bleeder while you're there.

This trans is gone, not spending all that money on it! Auto is going in.

Penny wise and pound foolish, in my opinion. It's less than a thousand bucks for a new entire clutch kit.

I already have a trans, after sell it is a wash to install the auto. After that no more issues at the strip or worry about axles breaking. Sounds like win to me. Unless I can replace the bearing itself and cheap I am not gonna bother.
