LOL! ^^ I like that!

Another thing.....

I remember way back in high school when my buddy was said he drover better when he was drunk. His reasoning was crap. He said since he was drinking, he paid even MORE attention to all of his actions/reactions.

The thing is...alcohol slows down reaction time and even it you are paying attention rather well, your reactions are that much slower not to mention non-existent depending on how much you've had.

There are responsible young adults out there who can handle it. There are some mature ones. It's the dumb@ses like my old buddy who thought alcohol made him safer on the road. I mean...are you kidding me?!?!

I know people who actually believe that smoking pot makes them a better driver.

Seriously.

It's been scientifically proven that THC slows your reaction time significantly and let's face it, when you're baked you tend to make more unfortunate decisions. But they insist that they do in fact drive better.

How bad a driver are you initially when you "drive better" high?

Dallas and Tarrant are doing a "no-refusal" weekend for DWI/DUI enforcement. I wonder how many arrested will have THC in their blood samples.

Lower the drinking age to 19. Worked fine for me. and yeah me and my friends drank under age, I haven't met too many people that waited to have their first drink until they are legal. Plus there is no stopping drinking in College/University. High school parties are rarely a secret, at least in small towns. I will say this though, me and my friends did drink less once we could legally drink. Mostly because we could all go to bars and that gets expensive.

Yeah, but those guys are only driving about 7 miles an hours VS the high speeds that a drunk driver does.

A long time ago I drove home drunk..... maybe 7 miles an hour, it was ridiculous... still could not stay on the road. Also it was on an old farm road with no traffic.... GOOD THING... bad idea...

well. I'm still in high school, so I'm probably one of the few who still has to watch little videos on alcohal abuse.

if I'm not mistaken, the law is basicly age 21, because the human brain isn't completely developed till that age, and alcohol stunts brain growth.
