Tomorrow is the big day! I know lots of people have had installation post about the MRT installation, but i'll still document mine and try and get some detailed pics of the little things like scrimg's advice about the clamps over the two pipes, how they slide into each other, and all that to hopefully help out future installers that may have the same questions i had.

I had mine done about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT! At the shop they chucked the clamps and welded it on, they did one heck of a fine job. It sounds fantastic. next mod is a hurst shifter for my m6. super pumped

I'm lazy, and figured the expense isn't too high, so I'm taking mine to a shop as well. Is there anything in particular you need to look out for? Don't want to get screwed...

One thing also and just as important. Make shore you file the pipe ends really good. It will make the pipe fit better and slide together much Easyer.

Do you know for sure if this clamp will fit on the 2012 V6? I am almost positive that nothing changed in the exhaust from 2010 to 2012 but want to be positive before I order these clamps.
