Trouble with gas pumps

Besides the ongoing price gouging, does anyone else have problems when fueling your camaro? I have a hell of a time adding gas and have resorted to the upside down filler to get it done. FYI I live in souther California home of the filler condom.

I'm not sure what you mean by problems? Stick the nozzle in the hole and pump. Are you having a hard time finding the hole?

If you're referring to the issue with the pump continuously turning off while trying to fill up, you just have to jiggle the nozzle around a little to find the sweet spot. It's a common problem if you search for it.

I have never experienced this problem. Is it a regional issue?

This has happened with all 3 of my 5th gens. When you fill, you will need to lift up the nozzle handle straight up (while it's fully inserted) so that the end of the nozzle is angled downward then add gas. My wife's Equinox does the same thing. It may be a regional thing - I'm in California.

You boys on the West Coast seem to do things the hard way. With all that flipping your nozzles around and pulling your handles up to get the right angle and all. Down here in the South, we just stick our nozzle in the proper receptacle, and pump like crazy ...

I'm pretty sure he's referring to having to pump with these ugly things:

in which case, like others already said, you really have to fully insert and lift up the handle (sounds dirty, don't it?). I didn't have this problem in my hometown because we didn't have the "nozzle condom"
but I got used to it now.

I have issues with it too! but i also have issues with my car only allowing me to fill up half my tank... like every other time it only allows me to fill up half my gas tank... I would think that the gas guage thing that tells it when to stop is messed up but then the next time i fill her up it fills up fine!
