Ripshift shifter - Anyone heard of it?

Does anyone know the story on the Ripshift shifter https://www.vengeancerd.com/ecart/products.php?product=Ripshift-Manual-Shifter-2010-Camaro{47}G8? Vengeance appears to be the only one who carries it, and the lack of internet info on it is slightly worrisome, especially since the concept is similar to the MGW. I did a search on the Ripshift but it looks like all mention of it died in 2009. I like what I've read about the MGW shifter but it comes with a 33% reduction in throw. What I really need/want are stronger centering springs or some other method to help with the 2-3 shift, which it seems only the MGW and the Ripshift provide.

I think that many on the forum who complain about the throw in the Camaro would have their heads explode if they ever tried an older muscle car. For me, the throw on the stocker is great, and I would have loved to have it on some cars I've owned, but the action needs help. The Ripshift looks good to me since the stock throw appears to be something I can retain. I don't want to deal with an (even minor) increase in shift effort that accompanies a short throw if it isn't necessary. Any info anyone has would be appreciated.

I have a Ripshifter on my 06 GTO and love it, is anyone running one on a Camaro? The MGW looks like the best choice, but did I mention that I love the one in my GTO?

Have you tried the factory Hurst? I've liked it more than any aftermarket kit that I've tried. No noise, throw is fairly effortless (I can shift using only my fingers if I choose), and makes lateral shifts feel solid and mechanical. I can't even comprehend the idea of a missed shift.

I had the GMM Ripshift on my 04 GTO. It was a great shifter. Very solid feel with positive shifts. I never missed third gear with it. The Quality was top notch. They are out of Australia which is why you probably haven't heard of them. I would go with them again without hesitation.

Looks like a good shifter and it has the stops so you can't over push / pull on the shifter when you're shifting hard

I did, and I don't have a problem with it, but I want help with the 2-3 shift the way the Hurst on my t-5 does. To be fair, the only shift I missed today in 18 passes was the run right after someone reminded me about missing 3rd and jinxed me.

I read every thread about this shifter from 20 pages of google search results, Aussie and US, and there are almost no negative posts about the Ripshift. However, it appears that Camaro owners are overwhelmingly voting for MGW with their dollar. I can't figure out why this is. Poor advertising?
