600 on a stock engine for $6000 ! Wow !! That's the best deal you can get if all holds up. What have I been doing ??!!! Put some miles on that thing and if it stays in one piece, I might be on the turbo band wagon folks !

How much fab work do you think it would take to get this installed on a zl1? If its even possible. Got to go for a ride in a friends twin-charged 03 Cobra and it was amazing!!

Well, Jeff stole my thunder, but the kit is nothing short of amazing! Quality parts and reliable power for that price!

I was sworn to secrecy so I couldn't spill the beans but since the cat's out of the bag, open the flood gates!

Off topic, but I used to drool over your car all the time on the Garrett page

so awesome, but it makes it way harder to choose between this and the "normal" kit!

Incredible price to power ratio!

How reliable will a system like this be over time?

Could it be considered for a daily driver?

Very. That is why we still sourced 110% genuine Garrett turbos. Sourcing something direct from China is cheap and easy but the reliability factor just isn't there. WG's and BOV are still Tial which is as good as it gets. The rest of the kit we have had on numerous cars and tested for a few years now. Some are almost 1200rwhp weekend-warriors and some are 600rwhp daily-drivers that still get tracked a few times a year.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use this kit on a true daily-driver aside from maybe the decrease in fuel economy due to it being too hard to stay out of boost Hearing the turbos spooling and BOV popping is too much for most people to resist

The other kit is for those that kind of know they want to go "Big" sooner than later and don't want to have to upgrade 75% of a kit to see 4-digit power at the wheels. Our hunch is that this kit should be good for minimally 700-ish rwhp as it sits but past that the larger GT35R or 37R-based turbos with the larger Tial SS housings will really start to pull away.

For those "Just" looking for a solid 600-650rwhp set-up without having to spend a ton of money or time on install this is the ticket!

Hey Jeff. Do you think it'd be possible to use this kit to make a twin-charged setup on a zl1? Got to ride in a friends twin-charged hellion Cobra and it was amazing. Wondered if it was feasible or not. Thanks!

I want anyone concearned about these kits for Daily Driving to stop worrying!

My wife put over 10k miles on our last Camaro with the higher end kit and she has never been down a track EVER!

When I was teaching my daughter how to drive, she drove the car with no issues and I would feel comfortable driving the car across country.

I never had an overheating issue, I always ran the AC, I didn't have ANY drivability issues and until I stepped on the gas you couldn't hardly tell it was there (that was by design for my wife)

This kit is the reason I bought a Camaro... when I was watching them do the R&D on the first one of these kits I told them "you guys are going to make me buy a Camaro" and sure enough I did, and I put the kit on.

Entry level or high end version these kits are better than you can imagine and the quality and reliablity are amazing!

If you are on the fence, call the shop and schedule a ride along with me in mine (when the weather gets better) you won't be sorry!
