BTW I think the ZL 1 will get some 11.8's when owners take them to the track.

Well first of all, you used the average times of the 500, and the absolutely best times posted for the Z...

I predict a drivers race at the strip, and the Z has a slight edge on the roadcourse. I don't see either dominating the other.

Looks wise, edge to the Z.

By the way, can someone find out what the average times are of the ZL1 from all the times posted so far? Math is not one of my strongpoints...

i think the average time is 12.45@116.25mph or so for the zl1

Last I checked 11.8 /= 12.45??

No did u not watch the vid they said a run 12.0 or 12.1 every time with a best run of a lil under 12 sec which is around 11.8 and damm don't let me give the zl1 .1 sec. Call the drag strip police lol

It is funny, last week the SVT gang was all happy when the private test had runs in the 13s at 114 mph, the SVT crowd got alot of good laughs in over at their site. Now this report comes out putting the ZL1 into the very low 12s to high 11s and the SVT gang cries foul

Like I said before the GT500 better deliver and not only behind the hands of Evan Smith and MM&FF on a prepped track.

The car is not an 11 second car until someone runs 11s. For now, its in the 12s. No biggie as we all know it will hit 11s soon, like when it gets to better ALT, it will but it is not yet an 11 second car. Besides, had they actually ran in the 11s (or an actual time posted), there would be no issue backing it.

Its funny you say that as there are PLENTY of 4th and 5th gen Camaro owners on my #1 forum as well and most of them are awesome people that I am good friends with. My apologies for not buying a Camaro (it was a close 2nd), but I appreciate both regardless of what I drive. Ill quote a famous cartoon that I hope you can understand:
