Cat-Delete

I’m thinking about getting BBK cat-delete pipes to go with my BBK 2 and 3/4 X pipe. My mufflers are Borla “S” type. Would the cat-delete require a tune?

Only a dry high flow air filter is my other mod. Otherwise my car is stock. It is a 13 1SS with auto trans.

I'm running catless without a tune. No CEL because I use rear o2 extenders.

you can optimize performance with a tune but it isn't 100% required.

There are people running long tube headers, catless, intake on this forum without a tune.

You will throw code, for the O2 sensors in the rear. it will come up As a CEL. Car will run a little rich and less you get it tuned but other than that should be fine to go. I did for two months before I got my tune.
