I've seen people black out their license plates essentially by installing license plate "protectors" that actually have such bad visibility you can't make out the numbers and letters through it. Protectors are technically illegal in NC, but I've never seen somebody get pulled over for this. Technically, a law was passed a few years ago that frames can't even partially cover the words "North Carolina" but it's pretty much never enforced.

I always have put a clear plate cover on, looks so much nicer and protects the plate. You can clearly see the plate number and I have never been hassled before about it.

Looks good. I prefer the appearance of 6th gens with splitters rather than without.

New guy here, hi everybody. Splitter looks great, imo. Anyone noticing any issues? Apron/curb rash? Gaposis? MPG difference, etc?

No, no, and no. I try and back it in when possible to prevent any scraping although I know some members have installed curb sensors just in case. A front fascia is not going to affect gas mileage. And no Gaposis. They provide all the necessary hardware for a good fit. Overall, I think its a great bang for your buck.

Good to know. Now just need to decide whether to go black or blue on the splitter. And as far as mpg, you might be surprised at how small tweaks to the body especially down low effects the aero count. Evidenced by the air deflectors in front of the front and rear tires on many vehicles now.

Where did you find it for $350? I would buy one at that price, but not the $500+ GM's asking. PM me, if you wouldn't mind. I have some cash burning a hole in my pocket.
OP...you must live on a gravel road, your wheel wells are awful dirty.
