That is way hotter in the video than in the photos. I guess I'll have to wait for the 2019 SS with A10. Was almost ready to buy end of this month since we need another vehicle.

The new pictures gave me hope but this video made me hate it even more. Those tail lights just feel completely out of place and the front end is a complete disaster. The hood extractor looks SUPER cheap looking as well.

They even put back the indentations below each tail light lens like the 5thGen "Sunglasses" tail lights and rear end has.....
I can't wait to hear a more in depth explanation from the designers about what they had in mind with the refresh styling.... |

yea, that's hideous. Looks like some Japanese or Korean car now from the front. Not a fan of anything they have done here, but that front is just a disaster.

I'm already on the record for liking the redesign after I took some time to look over the initial pics when they came out. I like it even more with these new pics. They did an awesome job tweaking the rear of the car. I hope we get to see some SS 1LE pix soon. I personally like the black bar across the front. It breaks up the front so that onlookers can see the aero treatments easier. The refreshed 1LE is going to be even more awesome. The current 1LE wheels are going to be hard to top but I hope they can raise the bar there as well. I also wish we were getting a power bump as well because everyone won't opt for the A10. The new taillights and rear treatments are now my new wallpaper.

Take the SS badge and bow tie off the front end and would look better. That bow tie has horrible placement

You know, the Camaro RS with the led shortening mod is starting to grow on me. I wonder if you can order a SS but with the RS body.

I strongly disliked the SS press release photographs, but the photographs of it in the flesh have changed my opinion. I really like the more aggressive front end, and now I want trade-in my 2018 SS M6 for a 2019 SS A10.

That revised rear bumper and taillights are the business. I can hardly wait to see it in person because pictures aren't always complimentary. If we're being honest we've all taken pictures of ourselves and the ones that weren't to our liking we quickly deleted them and tried better angles and lighting situations to find better shots. I don't think it's any different in this situation. And for the critics beauty will always be in the eyes of the beholder, your ugly maybe someone else's dime piece.

Agree. It would have been better had they emoloyed the black belt (flowtie and all) but carried the body coloured piece higher and then finished not with a fang but rather a finger in the same manner as the RS but thinner. Then i suspect that whole area would have flowed as well as on the RS while providing aero benefit (presumably for brake cooling ducts) and an SS differentiation. As is the fangs distract from otherwise nice looking grille and lower lights assembly. But as they said, they wanted the look to be polarizing...

Or simply carried the fangs in body color all the way down and then facilitated separate brake cooling inlets not incorporated with the grille. But thats just what could have been musings i am afraid...
