well, the TT kit is on the way. should be here sometime next week...which means i'll have to offload my headers and intake. I've actually got a bunch of things i need to sell off lol...SS rocker panels after my zl1 swap, stock and aftermarket pushrods, and now headers and intake (rotofab yellow box and rubber). might have some other random stuff laying around too. anybody interested?

Hey guys with the 1LE's, how are your wheels finishes holding up? Mine are looking pretty rough and was curious what you thought about powercoating? What are the pros/cons?
Also regarding local shops, I did a search on this thread and a place was mentioned back in 2011 ragrding powercoating brake calipers by Marc's Auto Creations, does anyone have a recommendation of a local shop? I'm in the Mandarin area and its my daily driver so need a quick turnaround.

Mine are holding up pretty good, but I won't drive it everyday, I have a company van as a DD.

Mine are holding up fine too, but it's also not a daily driver. Only have 4800 miles on her. Bring it back to the dealership. They should cover it under warranty. It amazes me how much they want for these wheels, but how cheaply they are painted.

A chucklehead backed into my parked 2010 last week...

Any suggestions for a GREAT body shop in Jax?
I used Gerber in the past and I was NOT impressed.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

We are thinking about going to just check it out. We are not going to compete. I just want to see what an autocross is all about before deciding on if this is something I want to do or not. The plus is these events provide an opportunity to play with your car for a low entry fee and relatively low impact on the car (brakes, tires, etc.) due to the low speeds.
