well...
emptied the oil before pulling the oil pump.

I do not think it was suppose to foam up, smell of fuel, and have a metallic shine.


needless to say.... we did not bother going any further

Do you have a cause for the failure yet? Im guessing the motor is toast? I feel for you Kyle as I went through the same thing and it totally sucks.

this is my second blown engine.... cannot believe it.
I am waiting till the shop does their own diagnosis, but I am very certain I know what it was.

they have been attempting to tune this car for weeks, a month even, getting help from others on the forum, but never made any progress... should have never went to 3Bar, should have stayed MAF. anyway.... dynoing pig rich, running on the dyno with 3 coils unplugged, cranking it for 3 or 4 days with tons of fuel and never getting it to fire.... list goes on.

but like i said.... I am going to wait for them to diagnose, but I am not extremely happy right now.
