Incorrect. Several threads that you allude to state that the Oshawa plant is not going on the 9 week shutdown that the US plants are in. They will take a single week shutdown for model changeover for the week of July 6-12 (Monday-Sunday). This is a multi-product plant and other models will have model year changeover...i. e., the Impala.

Again, there will be a one week shutdown of the Oshawa plant in July and that means that production will virtually cease on plant activity, including the Camaro, for that week.

Someone should take those pictures of the white SS being tested on the freeway, and just photoshop the door handle's and spoiler into white.
When i get a 5th gen, it will undoubtedly be white, so i can't wait to start seeing some new pictures of it.

GM had no choice but to wait on the white - mineral shortage to the paint suppliers..

I'd black out the rear panel just like the red LS7 concept above

GM should do a lighter, roadrace version, new school '1LE' removing the useless ABS for racing, only 2 airbags, no radio, heads up display(planned still?) 18" wheels (replace anyway w/Fikse or CCW's, etc), no firewall/carpet/trunk insulation and leave the zenon option intact and just CAMARO script on the fenders.....

New Age Z28/1LE only in white, OHH yhea gimme black door handles so vinyl stickering can be done to hide them

Id order/trade-up in a "heartbeat"

as long as production stays low to be different

Only reason I have not gotten excited about the car - now its possible I will buy in 2 years when maybee there is a govt approved special Z28 or similar race program purchase available

ONLY REASON I never picked up a new age GTO/Monaro was NO WHITE OPTION and no ZENON option - both items I expect for 32k+ sticker.

WTF was Cosmos Purple and Flash Gold on GTO?

Yellow??? worst color on ANY car except Taxis or 70-72 Buick GS/X's

I had a 2003 GMC Sierra that color and you are absolutely right!! That's why I was considering a white Camaro too...
But I've decided ABM... I've wanted blue for a very long time, it's time. Still the white Camaro IMHO looks Awesome, blue, black or red stries even better.
