I've been a duty driver for the Navy, and all I got to drive were passenger vans. Where do I route my paperwork to fill that billet?

The U-2 Dragon Lady Chase Camaro

If you ever wanted to feel good about owning a Camaro, this video by Motor Trend is epic. I hadn't seen it on here, so figured I'd share it.

That was totally bad ass thanks for sharing it with everyone. Looking at the curvature of the Earth from that height is incredible.

Seen something similar but they used the last gen GTO's for the monitoring.

Possible? Yes. Feasibly? Unlikely. Landing an aircraft like that is already a pain in the ass. There are plenty of instruments to help guide the plane in to the runway..keep them lined up correctly..give them altitude indicators. But that very last phase under 100 feet is crunch time. One wrong slip and you could end up nose down into the ground, wings sideways, slamming right into the ground. Having cameras wouldnt do to much beaides distract the pilot. They are already monitoring airspeed, altitude, wind patterns, etc. So adding another monitor to track would just cause distrractions. Granted I've never landed anything remotely close to this but personal experience in a small plane..a little wrong move can make you shit yourself when landing. Another set of eyes, especially from a pilot who knows what your going through is better IMO then having a monitor to watch.

Hardest job ever. I can't even get my gf to agree with me about what an inch is...
That's cause what you see as 9 inches she sees as 5.

Awesome article in the new Motor Trend magazine!

You know your car is awesome when it's used to professionally chase spy planes! They have a fleet of stock SS Camaros that are used to travel over 100mph, and to get to that speed quickly. 'MERICA!
