No problem. CAI Inc and Roto-Fab are the two we sell and recommend the most. They are both towards the top in regards to performance gains and are quality products. If you have any other questions feel free to fire away.

Question

Are there any tests on the Z/28 CAI on an SS Camaro?

Nothing back-to-back like we have from Ted's aftermarket intake test but based on the dyno results people have posted it seems to be in the 10-15rwhp along with the better aftermarket systems.

Looking at ordering a CAI intake in the near future. I have a 2012 45th anniversary edition SS automatic (L99) and have dropped the resonator and added some super 44s. I was looking into the 'Cold Air Inductions - 6.2L Camaro Intake - Black Finish'. How much better is it than the Roto-Fab version? Which might sound better with my setup?

Anything I should know on this one? I don't have a tuner or anything, but with this on top of the exhaust mod, maybe it's time?

Thanks in advance!

In terms of performance gains the Roto-Fab and CAI Inc systems are pretty comparable, CAI Inc may have a small edge. I generally tell our customers that if you want more customization options go with Roto-Fab, if you want ever single bit of performance possible, go with CAI Inc..

You can hear a difference between a car with a stock intake versus and aftermarket intake but you can not identify much difference in sound from aftermarket intake to aftermarket intake.
