I had a problem with a rattle when i first got my 2013 and it was the exhaust making the sound. Keep in mind it took me about 4 times under the car to find it. The link to the thread is below. It seems like it has only done it on npp setups from what i have read. Put you can up on a jack and get under there and give it a good tap with your hand and see if you hear the rattle. I can tell you i thought it was a clutch issue at first myself. Hope this may help.

My 13 with NPP makes the same noises. Dealer says it's normal and i've learned to live with it.

Not hard to fix. I did not trust my dealer to find the problem fixed it myself.

Just saw today that as of July 7th 2014 GM engineering say they know there is a problem and are investigating. I will keep an eye on it here at work and keep you all updated.

Next time ,take it to the dealer and make your service manager go for a ride with you to hear the sound . If he says it is normal ,ask him why a new one on his lot will make the same sound . Make them prove it .
