trading up to ss.

hi guys, so hopefully my car will be sold sooner, and I'm trying to trading up. saw 2 camaro ss 2ss rs nearby, 1 is 2010 ss 83k miles for $21,992.. the other one is $24k 2010 2ss rs 35k.. kinda confused which one should i buy? my car will be sold around $22-$24k.. the first one is kinda cheap, test drove the first one because its in the dealership, but my concern is the mileage. 83k miles.

thanks.

Is your current car free and clear of any payments or are you going to have to add to the loan for the new one? That would be the 1st issue. You would be going from a 2010 to another 2010, so you are not dropping in years, which is good... To me, it is a no brainer, the 2nd one has 48k less miles and is only $2k more in price?
If neither of them are the right car, keep shopping around...

Obviously don't go with the one that's more than double the mileage only to save $2K

I bought my 2010 2SS a few weeks ago for $22,500 from a large dealership and it had only 16,500 miles. That makes me think that $21,992 is a little high for 83,000 miles.

The lower mileage car seems to be the better deal of the two.

well it is tho, i just checked on kbb, let say i own that ss and want to sell it to private party, it worth around $20,300 on good condition and on excellent condition is $500 more. should i bargain with the dealers ask for a lower price since I'm not gonna finance.

Always, absolutely always haggle. My wife doesn't haggle on large purchases and it drives me batty. Even if you only get a little bit off, it's better than nothing. I'd never settle for the list price on something like a vehicle, home, etc.

here's the ads. car look clean stock. price is about right, checked with kbb just now. anyway, i never buy a car from a privte party. so is there any additional fee should i pay, i mean i talked with the financial guy at the dealership if i buy the high mileage one there is sales tax around 8 or 9% of the car and then another dmv fee or something like that.

what about private party? do i just have to pay the list price and I'm good to go?
