At least as far as the dealerships in my area are concerned, that color popularity pie chart might as well be a chart showing the availabilty of each color. They always have tons of Black, Red, Yellow, and Inferno Orange camaros. I've seen 2 synergy greens which sold quickly. I only saw one ABM but i've seen 3 in town, and they just recently started getting imperial blues which seem to be sitting on the lot. I've seen a couple white camaros in town but have never seen one on a dealership lot. Yes I'm somewhat bitter because I wanted an ABM and they cancelled it because it was the "least popular". My opinion on that is that they didn't sell as many because they didn't make as many and they were hard to find. Granted for me I know I could have gone and looked around and found one at a dealership somewhere else (didnt have the money at the time). I don't think that most people are going to do that though. The only ABM they even got at the local dealership was a bare bones V6. Who is going to buy that when there is a loaded 2SS/RS sitting next to it?

all RJT buyers had to pay a $325 premium because of special processes used in painting from what I was told when I placed my order

Jet Black Interior question - My guess this is AAW, which is the black cloth interior and green accents for the Synergy Green.

sorry if this has already been answered, but from looking at the data i that camaro.spasticsquirrel.com

I believe:

jet black = CLOTH black interior, so it's the option for 1LT or 1SS
Black = leather, so 2LT or 2SS

I have RJT, so based on the DATE of all the RJT and RJT - premium when I was sorting for my actual car options, they are the same.
The dealer information just called RJT, RJT -premium early on, VERY few..then changed to just RJT
I believe that's when the option priced dropped from almost $450 to around $285-$300 also

Yes, it's the black cloth, but not limited to the Synergy, which adds the green stitching other black interiors don't have.

So what about those of us with Black and Tan interior?
As far as I've ever seen I'm the only one I can find with a two color interior...
Which interior color am I?? Do I get a half in both?
LOL

Then that would mean out of the 23,xxx LS and 1LT sold; that only 1,xxx chose black over beige and grey.

Good distribution on the colors: At the end of the day all that matters is that you love that color you picked.

Before seeing the interior colors I wouldn't think that black would be 72,72% (lol@the,) but it is an awesome color. They should have called it something other than black.

Shocked by the auto/manual numbers.

Come on Cali, I thought we could do better than that! Oh well, have to offset 3 prius for every camaro you know.

btw mmmm pie
