As I read this I think to myself, what would I do in the case my car was totaled. Am I the only one that would purchase a V6 again ? I really love the gas milage and performance from this engine. Yes, I have a IPF SC on the engine and am very happy with the performance versus the SS. This car is used 50% of my driving time however I am starting to try to keep milage down by using my truck more often.

I believe you're not the only one. Everyone have their reasons and it comes down to whatever makes the buyer happy.

I love my IPF kit too BUT (god forbid something happen to my car)...I would upgrade to a V8. After building my six I'm ready for something else, but for now, I'm enjoying my SC'D six.

I'm so sorry to see this. My condolences. At least you're ok. So thankful that these are safe cars we drive.

the manual trans (MT82) has failures but it seems to be only during the very beginning. if it survives the break in then its good usually. I know people that really up the power they usually get a better rebuilt transmission.

nuttbutt. i would more than likely get another V6 camaro if something happened to mine. i test drove SS and LT and wanted the gas mileage, cheaper gas, and less cost purchase price. so , all those factors would still be my issues today if i had to buy another one.

OP, sorry about the wreck . glad you ok, maybe someday you will go back to camaro.

so you have a mustang thought you might have chosen the 335i theyre 14-18k now. My brother has one and man it runs consistent mid 12s on tune and exhaust and meth kit only lol

Makes me want to get one but we'll see. Congrats on the purchase though!

Tune and the 5.0 is mid 12's on street tires. Headers are a pain to install since the engine bay is packed.

Prepare for Camaro owners that watch from the stands claim their Uncle-Daddy's Brother Cousin's Friend's Camaro is faster than your Mustang.
