H or X pipe

Here's my dilemma. I had ARH 2" headers installed and felt a little guilty that my neighbors had to hear the rumble of the car starting in the morning and decided to install a resonated x-pipe, the rest of the exhaust is stock NPP. Well, let's just say I hate it. So, do I have the shop cut that out and either A) install a new H-pipe so it's basically back to stock or, B) install an X-pipe, non-resonated, in it's place? FYI, these will match the 2.5" stock exhaust, not going to change diameter.

I know what the car will act and sound like with the H-pipe back in. Any thoughts/suggestions on if I were to have an X-pipe put in?

Thanks.

Is it too quiet? Dump the cats if it is. Once you up the power more you will need to anyways. I got rid of my h pipe and added two solo resonators to cut down on sound on long trips. Everyone at the track loves how my car sounds.

Yes, it's too quiet.

FYI, I have ARH 2" headers and cat delete. And it's still too quiet.

Even when I go to WOT, it's not as loud as it should be. Not impressed at all with the resonated pipe, just too darn quiet.

When I changed to the resonated x-pipe, my butt dyno swears that I lost torque. This video even states that there is a possibility that an x-pipe could add hp but lose toque.

Does anyone here that installed an x-pipe have any comments about this?

H - pipe for me. I love the torque it gives you down in the lower and midrange rpm band. I personally do not live in the upper rpm range for the x-pipe to be benefitial for my driving habits.

This is what I was wondering and looking for someone to confirm for me. I love torque, I think I'm going to go back to an H-pipe.

I see what you mean now, it is definitely quieter. I have headers high flows and corsa cat back and it is loud.
