I, personally, would wait for the SS with a manual. I can't stand driving automatic cars. It bores the crap out of me.

I remember the days when a question like this would have got a dozen answers. BTW bhobbs, I'm not sure I need a manual in this car. I agree with your point though. It would be nice to have the new 8 speed auto though.

Wow. Seriously Peeps of The House........this is the least response we've had on an automotive topic. Looking for some opinions and only a few.

I love the SS. I keep trying to trade the G8GT in for one but the wife realllllly loves that car.( plus it's nice not having a car payment) I think the biggest question is can you live without the Audi refinement? I'm sure the AWD is nice during the winter as well....

For the 2015 SS, has GM offically stated that they will offer the magnetic ride suspension? I have seen a few threads with the rumors, but has it been confirmed? The mag ride would realy set off what is already a good car.

Do you view keeping the Audi as the more practical choice? I'm assuming so with the depreciation hit you would take. I could never pick an Audi over a Chevy but I'm not into luxury. I don't think I've seen an interior nicer than the SS that's still able to keep a sporty feel too it. The SS really is the ultimate sleeper. You can drive it knowing that you've got a great amount of performance without having to show it off. I've seen a few at events and dealerships and just saw the first one on the road yesterday. It was black and I almost drove past it without noticing.
