Does anyone know what this is?
Hi there,
Whilst fitting some new seat covers to my car today I've noticed a loose part under the drivers seat of my car. I've looked underneath the drivers seat and cant see where this part has come out from. It might not be from the seat. Part Number #10283990 just says "Plug". My 1LE was recently exported/imported to United Kingdom and it may have been under the seat since the car was built. If anyone know what it is or where it goes, that would be helpful. Thanks, Pete |

Looks like a floor pan plug, at least a plug that is made to cover a current or previous access point.

Would that be underneath the carpet?

Try looking on your door - I think it's a door access plug.

Betcha that's exactly what it is, from the door. Unless they seat was up and the carpet pulled pulled.

Its quite possible that the seats were up, because the wiring was previously modified to support side turn signals in the wing mirrors and also new wiring for new rear brake lights, rear fog light and rear amber turn signals. The plug could have been from anywhere really. Right now it's 10pm and snowing outside, so I'll check underneath the doors tomorrow. Thanks so much for your help! I'll let you know.

Hi guys, it looks similar to the plugs found underneath each door.
However, all mine are there. The plug has either come out of the floor, or it's a spare part thats been stuck underneath the drivers seat since it was built. If I find any holes in the future at least I've got it to put back in. Thanks for you help! :-) |

It looks like you have done the plug pull. How much horsepower did that add? LOL!
