Hello all,

Just wanted to say it was an absolute pleasure meeting all/most of you last night. I can't wait to do it again! We will definitely stay for a longer next time. I feel like I learned something and, hearing all those exhaust/headers has given me a better perspective for my future purchase. Seeing all those mods in person was a great!

Well that trip was mostly pointless to SAR. I got there about 9 made 2 passes. 1st pass was a 15.92 at 108 because I spun 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear and didn't leave the line lol. 2nd pass was 12.97 at 108 with still some wheel spin. I got in line to make another pass, got 4 from running and someone blew their engine up on the initial hit, but instead of stopping they slung oil ALL THE WAY down the track like an asshole. After an hour and a half of them cleaning the track I gave up and left because I had stuff to do today. So basically I paid $100 in gas and $67 for a hotel to make 2 ****ing runs because someone was a moronic asshole.

Glad you made it out. Car looked nice and it seems like you will begin the modding soon. Its fun and for the most part easy on these cars.

Sounds like you wasted your weekend. That sux. Hopefully no one does that in Indy. If I get the chance to break away from AutoX ill try to run down the strip.

WOW! That would put you like top 3 on 1/4 mile times. Post your slip so you can represent Corpus Christi.

Well i sounds like your car is preforming well or atleast will if you can get the power down. Sorry for the rough experiance but hey thats autosports/sports/hobbies for ya youll have semi regrettable outings every now and again. Atleast you and your car made it home in one piece! Better luck next time i suppose.

If I sell my cj this week I'll be getting drag radials for track only to get some better times. I think I can get it to 12.0 - 12.3 if I can hook it. I would love to post the slip but I left it in the hotel because I left in a hurry. A word of advice, tape off behind your tires. I had rubber all over behind the rear wheels. It is still in my wheel wells.
