Has anyone tried to take their ZL1 to the dealer to trade

I am wondering if anyone has tried to get a trade in price for their 2013 ZL1 at a dealer. If so what kind of dollars are they showing?

I am thinking of trading mine on a 2014 Convertible Stingray!

Thanks, Rob

I'd look it up on KBB and see what it is showing first to get a ballpark.

Thats a lot of money..my local dealer had about 6 used ones ranging from a few hundred to about 5k miles....all were priced at about 51k to 55k to buy.

I love my ZL1 but I don’t blame you for wanting to trade it in for the Sting Ray. I’m not a corvette guy but that is a beautiful car.

A Corvette engine and a Cadillac suspension stuffed into a Camaro, that’s what I’m talking about!

I have both (GT500 and ZL1), actually I was going to sell the ZL1 to get the GT500 but was shocked when I took it to the dealer. With only a few hundred miles on it I was offered low 50's I guess they don't move much for sticker, but when you sell its a different story. I too love the new stingray.....

Hey Ernie,

The engine in the Camaro is a cadillac engine with the intake modified for the Camaro, it is not a corvette engine. The LSA engine in the Camaro is offered in the Caddy. The LS9 supercharged 6.2 is in the ZR1.

UNLESS your signature refers to the SS. The LS3 is in the base corvette and the SS. But the ZL1 engine (LSA) was never in a corvette

I'm thinking about trading mine in for a possible upgrade. I've gotten $47,000(MSRP $59k) from a local dealer for my 2012 and then $44,000 from BeckyD. I may do private seller if I end up going through with it.

Just curious how many miles and what options are on yours? Secondly, the $47,000 trade offer what were you trading on?

Thanks, Rob
